Spent most of the day driving across Mid Central Nebraska....

40 plus mph winds - temps that went from the mid 30's at 8:00 to the low 20's by about 2:30 this afternoon and now blowing snow flurries just heavy enough to be a pain in the ass.

Nothing seen on the drive this morning as far as birds concerned but from about Noon till I stopped a few minutes ago almost every corn field had mallards circling it or walking around eating corn....it has been a wierd year with the mild temps but it looks as if on January 11th the ducks might finally be leaving the Dakotas.

Make sure you are in the blinds tomorrow morning as it should be a good one
